Fast Umbraco migration under time pressure

This website had to be moved to Umbraco 17 within 6 weeks. The previous agency had failed to report that Umbraco 8 had reached end-of-life. We faced a complex challenge: completely rebuilding an old multitree structure with 6 languages.

Our approach: AI-driven design and automated migration

With our AI-assisted development process we:

• Created a design for Arcelor Mittal Projects based on the new corporate site
• Set up a new Umbraco 17 environment
• Migrated content automatically and checked it manually for quality

International collaboration for hosting and infrastructure

An important challenge was optimising the internal hosting infrastructure. We worked closely with the IT departments in Brazil and Luxembourg to make everything stable and performant. The result: a smoothly running website that is ready for the future.

Further development with Umbraco Co-pilot

The site is now entering a continuous improvement process to make content management even easier. For this we set up Umbraco Co-pilot and implemented various quality agents that support editors in their daily work.
