Bruynzeel
API, nopCommerce, .Net, product configurator, decentralised POS systems, resellers
With a configurator that is smart enough to hide the complex logistics behind the scenes. That is what we built for Bruynzeel.
What was the problem?
Bruynzeel sells made-to-measure cupboards through a network of resellers, each with their own POS systems. Customers want to assemble their cupboard online themselves — colour, sizes, layout — and be able to order it straight away. But the order flow then has to go on to the right point of sale or distribution channel. That is technically complicated. At the front it has to be simple.
What did ZAAKS! do?
In collaboration with Bruynzeel's own IT we built a configurator portal in nopCommerce and .Net. Customers assemble their cupboard via an intuitive interface, and the order is passed on automatically to the right decentralised POS system or reseller. API links make sure the data is correct on both sides.
What does it deliver?
A configurator is only good when it feels simple — while the technology works extremely hard for it in the background. That is what we put in place here.
