What was the problem?
Keeping track of packaging data manually in Excel doesn't scale. The number of material types, products, markets and deadlines is simply too large. And the regulations also change regularly. What you report correctly today may be different again next quarter. You need a system that keeps pace — automatically, without you constantly having to chase it yourself.
What did ZAAKS! do?
We are building the AI-driven core of the Packstract platform. Document parsing automatically extracts packaging data from technical files. The calculation engine splits per material type and calculates the expected levy. The report generator creates the Verpact declaration document with one click. Via an API, everything connects to existing ERP and PIM systems. And for every new declaration period we adjust the calculation rules — so that Packstract customers are always compliant without having to follow the rules themselves.
What does it deliver?
Less manual work, fewer errors, fewer additional assessments. And claiming more discount than would be possible without the system — because the tariff optimisation is calculated automatically.
