Help us plant 10,000 trees in Nepal

On World Earth Day, 22 April 2024, we go all out with our tree-planting campaign in Nepal for the "Green Space" project. Together with the community we will then get to work creating green schools and open spaces where we can plant trees.

We have started a campaign on GoFundMe to raise as much money as possible.

We have a mega goal: plant 10,000 trees before 2030. That is going to give our climate a solid boost. To start with, on Earth Day itself we plant at least 1,500 trees and we hand out 100 fruit trees to households. In that way we show that we care deeply about the earth.

Check our projects:

1. Parks and green zones in Kathmandu In Kathmandu we started small with planting trees in order to improve the air and the living environment. We do this with volunteers and the Lions Club. Schools join in as well to teach the kids something about sustainability. The community itself takes care of the trees and parks.
2. A future for remote villages Just as in many other countries, young people from small villages move to the cities. In Nepal that is no different. But we actually want to keep them in their village.

We are working on a plan to transform these sleepy little villages into vibrant communities. We do this by converting traditional agricultural land into modern agriculture for fruit, herbs and vegetables. And of course we plant trees for new forests. This not only helps the working community, but also prevents landslides because the trees hold the soil.

If this plan succeeds, we will get support from local governments to apply this system in other villages.

Help us reach our goals Your support is indispensable. By donating to our tree-planting campaign you do not only contribute financially, you invest in a sustainable future. Your contribution has a direct impact on creating green spaces and offers educational opportunities for the community to be environmentally conscious.

Let us together plant the seed for change. Every donation, however small, makes a big difference. Help us plant the seeds for a better tomorrow, where trees grow and our planet flourishes.
